“American Horror Story” heads back to the 1980s for the slasher-themed season “American Horror Story: 1984,” which will bring the body count to FX this coming September. The season will introduce a group of friends based on classic ’80s slasher movie characters, and the just-launched “Survivor Sweepstakes” tasks you with guessing who will make it out alive.

On August 5th, the killer will take his first victim, with the final survivor being revealed on September 10th. “AHS: 1984” will then premiere on Wednesday, September 18th.
