FX damn sure has my attention with this year’s “American Horror Story: 1984,” a slasher-inspired season of the anthology series that will take us to the fictional Camp Redwood, a summer camp being stalked by a masked killer. Fittingly, the season’s official poster looks like retro slasher movie VHS art, with a sharp knife nearly slicing into a screaming woman.

“AHS: 1984” will premiere on Wednesday, September 18.
