Bloody Disgusting just got word that Blumhouse and Hulu’s year-long event, “Into the Dark”, will conclude its first season on September 6th with the Daughter’s Day-themed “Pure”.
Sickhouse‘s Hannah Macpherson directed this female coming-of-age horror story in which several teen girls perform a secret ritual at a Purity Retreat and, when one of them begins to see a supernatural entity, the terrifying question emerges: what is more dangerous, the demon they’ve unleashed or the pressure to conform to their fathers’ expectations?
The film stars Jahkara Smith, McKaley Miller, Scott Porter, Annalisa Cochrane, Ciara Bravo, Jim Klock, and T.C. Carter.
