Here’s a Much Better Look at the Floronic Man Makeup from the “Swamp Thing” Finale

Published

The post-credits scene from the finale of DC Universe’s “Swamp Thing” finally introduced Jason Woodrue fully transformed as the Floronic Man, with Kevin Durand in full body makeup as the DC Comics character. Of course, it was a tease for something that we’ll never actually be seeing more of, as DC Universe pulled the plug on the series after just one season.

The Floronic Man’s arrival in the post-credits scene was mostly bathed in darkness, meaning it was kind of hard to see all the incredible makeup that had been applied to Durand. But thankfully, the makeup team has provided some behind the scenes photos this week that really allow us to get a good look at their work, and to see the Floronic Man in all his glory.

Makeup artist Kevin Kirkpatrick shared the pics and wrote over on Instagram this week, “Makeup applied by @ozzyalvarezfx and myself on the amazing @thekevindurand. Designed by @justin.raleigh and created by the super talented folks at @fracturedfxinc. What an amazing show to be a part of despite the canceling of it after the first season.”

The makeup actually looks way cooler here, on full display, than it did on television…
