Long before box office records were broken by Andy Muschietti’s IT back in 2017, Stephen King’s epic novel was of course first adapted by Tommy Lee Wallace for a mini-series that originally aired in 1990. Tim Curry memorably played the child-killing clown in the miniseries, terrorizing a generation and paving the way for Bill Skarsgard to take over the iconic role.
With IT: Chapter Two arriving in theaters this weekend, SYFY is celebrating the original two-part classic by re-airing it several nights this next week, beginning on September 5!
