Shot in ScreenLife, exclusively from the point of view of the smartphone screen, the Snap Original horror series “Dead of Night” is coming to Snapchat on Saturday, September 14.
The series, based on a Hooked story and produced in association with Bazelevs, follows a teenage girl who must escape a quarantined city full of zombies, armed with only her phone.
Said producer Timur Bekmambetov, “Dead of Night marks a new milestone in the evolution of Screenlife. Producing for Snapchat and going vertical makes the story more immersive and acknowledges reliance on our phones and their essential role in our lives. And since subconsciously, we find footage captured by the phone more believable, our project will deliver a never before seen level of realism and dynamic to Snapchat users.”
