Julianne Moore was recently set to star in a small screen adaptation of Stephen King‘s Lisey’s Story for Apple, and Deadline reports today that Clive Owen has now joined her.
Owen will play Lisey’s husband, Scott Landon.
The 8-hour limited series is written by King, who will also executive produce.
The series is described as a deeply personal thriller that follows Lisey (Moore) two years following the death of her husband.
“The series explores a series of events that causes her to begin facing amazing realities about her husband that she had repressed and forgotten.”
J.J. Abrams is on board to produce through Bad Robot Productions.
