Adam Ellis is the man behind the viral “Dear David” tweets that New Line is working on turning into a movie, telling the story of how a dead child is allegedly haunting his apartment and trying to kill him. While we wait for an update on that project, Deadline reports today that Ellis has joined forces with the Travel Channel for the new series “Trending Fear.”
The paranormal docuseries will premiere on Friday, December 20.
Deadline details, “Each of the hourlong episodes will see [Ellis and his two friends] traveling America, hoping to help people take back their lives after unexplainable encounters with the paranormal. By assisting others, Ellis hopes what he learns from his hands-on investigations will help further a deeper understanding of his own haunting.”
Jen Lewis and Paul Bradford join Ellis for the six-part series.
