As fans of the Chiodo Bros. (Killer Klowns from Outer Space) may be aware, they released a book back in 2015 titled Alien Xmas, and they’re currently hard at work on turning the tale into a stop-motion animated Christmas special for Netflix. Animation Magazine just brought us the scoop over the weekend that the 30-minute special will arrive in late 2020!
Jon Favreau will executive produce and voice one of the characters.
“Alien Xmas finds a race of kleptomaniac aliens trying to steal Earth’s gravity in order to nab everything on the planet. The fate of the Earth depends on Santa, his elves, the spirit of Christmas and a generous, small alien named X!”
The book was written by Stephen Chiodo & Jim Strain and illustrated by Charles Chiodo.
