We learned late last year that Ex Machina and Annihilation director Alex Garland‘s sci-fi series “Devs“ was moving from FX to FX on Hulu, which means the show won’t be airing directly on the FX network but rather on the dedicated new FX hub that you’ll find within Hulu. Get it? Got it? Good. Well today we’ve got a premiere date, out of the TCA’s winter press tour.
The first two episodes of the eight-episode limited series will premiere on Thursday, March 5, with new episodes then arriving each week on the FX on Hulu streaming service.
UPDATE: Watch the mind-bending official trailer below!
“Devs is a limited series that focuses on a young software engineer named Lily Chan (Sonoya Mizuno) who works for Amaya, a cutting-edge tech company based in Silicon Valley.”
“After her boyfriend’s apparent suicide, Lily suspects foul play and begins to investigate. She quickly realizes that all roads lead to Forest (Nick Offerman), Amaya’s enigmatic CEO, and Devs, the company’s secret development division. In Lily’s quest to discover the truth, she uncovers a technology-based conspiracy that could change the world.”
Jin Ha (Jesus Christ Superstar Live), Zach Grenier (The Good Wife, Deadwood), Stephen McKinley Henderson (Ladybird, Fences), Cailee Spaeny (Bad Times at the El Royale, On the Basis of Sex) and Alison Pill (American Horror Story: Cult, Snowpiercer) will also star.
