Hulu Has Not Yet Made Any Decisions About the Future of “Castle Rock”

You may recall that Hulu had renewed the Stephen King-based “Castle Rock” for a second season before the first season even wrapped up, so you may be a little concerned (as I have been) that a third season still hasn’t been ordered up despite the second season coming to a close over a month ago. So what’s going on there? And will we be getting a third season?

Hulu’s Craig Erwich, speaking today during Hulu’s presentation as part of the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour, has revealed that no decision has been made.

We have not made any further decisions on Castle Rock, people are still continuing to discover it. I thought Lizzy Caplan was revelatory in her portrayal of Annie Wilkes, it was a whole new take on the character and it was very brave of her given what Kathy Bates has done [in Misery],” Erwich announced today, those quotes coming courtesy of Deadline.

As always, the future of “Castle Rock” is entirely dependent on how many people watched the latest season. Here’s hoping we have some good news to report real soon.
