New Teaser for “The Walking Dead: World Beyond” Brings a Pop of Color into the Apocalypse [Video]
AMC is hoping to breathe new life into the world of “The Walking Dead” with spinoff series “The Walking Dead: World Beyond” this year, centered on two young female protagonists and telling the story of the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse.
The marketing has been a whole lot more colorful than the main show’s universe often tends to be, and this latest promo trailer goes even harder on that fresh, youthful vibe.
The 10-episode first season of the series will premiere Sunday, April 12, 2020 at 10pm EST. Subsequent episodes will then air Sunday nights at 9:00 p.m. EST.
The lead in for the premiere will be the main show’s season 10 finale. Additionally, we’ve learned that the plan is for “World Beyond” to run only two seasons before wrapping up.
“Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, good & bad.”
“Two sisters along with two friends leave a place of safety and comfort to brave dangers, known and unknown, living and undead on an important quest. Pursued by those who wish to protect them and those who wish to harm them, a tale of growing up and transformation unfurls across dangerous terrain, challenging everything they know about the world, themselves and each other.”
Jordan Vogt-Roberts directed the pilot episode. Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston, Julia Ormond, Aliyah Royale and Annet Mahendru will lead the cast.

“Chucky” – Official Trailer for This Week’s New Episode Brings Brad Dourif into the White House!
Just two episodes remain in Season 3 of “Chucky,” with the second-to-last episode airing this Wednesday night on USA & SYFY. It’s titled “There Will Be Blood,” and oh yes there will be.
Last week’s episode was absolutely INSANE, with Chucky taking control of the situation room in the White House and attempting to start World War 3. His plan was thwarted, but not before nuking the North Pole. In the wake of launching that missile, Chucky met the true death, his doll body disintegrating into ash like he got Thanos snapped out of existence.
The episode ended with an appearance from Brad Dourif as Charles Lee Ray in his human form, with his spirit now free from the doll and roaming around the haunted White House.
Here’s the official plot synopsis for this week’s episode: “Parapsychologists investigate the disturbances in the White House, while Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) plans her escape.”
“There Will Be Blood” airs Wednesday, April 24 on USA and SYFY. Reversing a new plan they tested out last week, we’re told the episode will be available on Peacock this Thursday.
