Adult Swim is helping us get through these tough times by making every single episode of “Metalocalypse” available for FREE on adultswim.com. As well as all four seasons, they’ve also made the Klok Opera movie available to stream.
The animated television program centered on the larger-than-life melodic death metal band Dethklok and their fictional band members Nathan Explosion, Skwisgaar Skwigelf, Pickles, William Murderface and Toki Wartooth. (Wiki)
The series was created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha, and it premiered on August 6, 2006, and concluded with a one-hour special, “Metalocalypse: The Doomstar Requiem”, on October 27, 2013. As Wiki notes, the music, written by guitarist/creator Brendon Small, was credited to the band and featured in most episodes.
“Metalocalypse” imagines a world in which Dethklok is the biggest band on the planet – so popular in fact that they control the rise and fall of the economy. The show is nothing short of brutal, leaving blood and guts splattered across the screen as the band sings about their favorite products, including Duncan Hills Coffee…
