Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds) and Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games) star in Quibi‘s “movie in chapters” Most Dangerous Game, an action-thriller that will be available when Quibi launches this coming April.
Most Dangerous Game, directed by Phil Abraham, “explores the limits of how far someone would go to fight for their life and their family. Desperate to take care of his pregnant wife before a terminal illness can take his life, Dodge Maynard (Hemsworth) accepts an offer to participate in a deadly game where he soon discovers that he’s not the hunter… but the prey.”
The trailer for the series, which will appear on the short-form video platform April 6th, offers us a glimpse at the modern take on the classic story in which “man hunts man”. There’s a demented undertone in that Waltz believes it’s in our very nature to want to be challenged and will go at great lengths to take it to extremes.
