Classic “The Twilight Zone” Episode ‘To Serve Man’ Gets a Sequel [Images]
Producer Jordan Peele has brought back the Kanamits in a sequel to the classic “The Twilight Zone” episode “To Serve Man”, which aired way back in 1962.
Bloody Disgusting has a first-look at the reboot series’ “You Might Also Like”, featuring the return of the Kanamits in an episode written and directed by horror favorite Osgood Perkins (The Blackcoat’s Daughter, Gretel & Hansel).
The Kanamits were seemingly friendly visitors to Earth until their sinister intentions were revealed – they weren’t looking to help man, but actually eat them.
“You Might Also Like” follows stay-at-home housewife Mrs. Warren (Gretchen Mol) as she looks forward to acquiring the widely marketed ‘Egg,’ an enigmatic device that promises to make everything better for everyone forever. But further investigation soon reveals the unsavory truth about this mysterious product.
Greta Lee also guest stars.

‘American Horror Story’ Season 13 is a Sequel to Every Season Combined, Ryan Murphy Confirms
“American Horror Story” lucky season 13 will be an all-star reunion in more ways than one. Ryan Murphy teased an Avengers-level new season that sees returning players take on multiple roles.
The return of Jessica Lange and first images had many speculating that the 13th season of FX’s anthology series would pick up from “Coven.” It turns out that’s only partially accurate.
Murphy revealed to Entertainment Tonight that the new season is a sequel to “all seasons combined.”
Murphy continued, “So Sarah Paulson is playing six or seven roles. Jessica Lange is playing all four of her iconic characters. Evan Peters is playing five characters, and of course Kathy Bates and Emma Roberts and Billie Lourd. It’s like the Avengers! They all come together to defeat the ultimate evil.”
To be fair, that is hinted at in the film’s official synopsis: “An unrivaled 13th installment that will do justice to everyone’s most feared number. Bringing together an all-star cast, many of whom are reprising fan-favorite roles, American Horror Story: 13 continues to build on the anthology’s decades-long legacy that has been streamed more than 700 million hours across the globe and spawned a legion of dedicated fans.”
“American HorrorStory has redefined the genre with various installments featuring a creepy murder house, a coven of witches, a traveling freak show, a haunted hotel and the apocalypse itself. Which iconic horrors will return to haunt the hallowed halls of 13 and what new terrors await? Light your candles, draw your pentagrams and prepare for a supreme surprise.”
The detail that this all-star cast would take on every iteration they’ve played throughout twelve seasons, though, is new.
Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, John Carroll Lynch, and Mat Fraser also star.
Newcomers this season include Mena Suvari (American Beauty), Berto Colon (“The Night Agent”), and cult filmmaker John Waters.
