The Jordan Peele-produced, Al Pacino-starring “Hunters” premiered on Amazon Prime back in February, and it seems to have found its audience as we’re getting a second season.

We’ve learned today that Amazon has renewed “Hunters” for more Nazi-hunting.

The Hollywood Reporter notes, “It’s unclear if stars Al Pacino, Logan Lerman and Jerrika Hinton will return for the sophomore run.”

“With Hunters, David Weil’s bold vision and fearless imagination powered a thrilling, twisty, action-packed first season that engaged Prime Video customers around the world,” said Jennifer Salke, Head of Amazon Studios, “We are thrilled that David, Jordan and the Hunters will be back with us for more.”

Inspired by true events, “Hunters follows a diverse band of Nazi Hunters living in 1977 New York City. The Hunters, as they’re known, have discovered that hundreds of high ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the U.S.”

“The team of Hunters will set out on a bloody quest to bring the Nazis to justice and thwart their new genocidal plans.”

The project, produced by Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Sonar Entertainment, was created by David Weil (Moonfall), who wrote and executive produces the series.
