Announced earlier this month, five brand new episodes of Adult Swim and “Samurai Jack” & “Dexter’s Laboratory” creator Genndy Tartakovsky‘s half-hour animated series “Primal” are on the way, premiering Sunday, October 4. Additionally, we’ve learned that a whole new season with 10 more new episodes has also been ordered up, so that’s on the way too.

Tartakovsky also directed “Star Wars: Clone Wars” and all three Hotel Transylvania films.
