The current season of the Japanese animated series “Attack on Titan” is the show’s final season, but we’ve learned in the wake of the finale that there’s actually more to come.

Funimation announced this week, “The battle is not yet over. Attack on Titan Final Season Episode 76 is officially in production and will arrive during the Winter 2022 anime season.

“The announcement for the continuation was made following the final episode of Attack on Titan Final Season, as the battle lines grew deeper between Eren and his former allies.”

You can currently watch the final season subbed and dubbed through Funimation.

The “Attack on Titan” anime series is adapted from the best-selling manga series by Hajime Isayama about the last of humanity fighting to survive against man-eating giants called Titans.

The final season’s synopsis is as follows…

“It’s been four years since the Scout Regiment reached the shoreline, and the world looks different now. Things are heating up as the fate of the Scout Regiment — and the people of Paradis — are determined at last. However, Eren is missing. Will he reappear before age-old tensions between Marleyans and Eldians result in the war of all wars?”
