Upcoming Season Finale of Shudder’s “Creepshow” Uses VR to Enter Movies; Justin Long Stars [Images]

The second season of Shudder‘s “Creepshow” is coming to an end with next week’s finale, which brings Greg Nicotero back into the director’s chair for a terror tale about virtual reality.

Justin Long stars in “Night of the Living Late Show,” which has the following premise…

“Simon has invented an incredible virtual reality experience that allows him to join in on his favorite films. The idealized world of his favorite movie is no match for his normal, boring life, and he finds himself escaping to his VR chamber as often as he can… but what happens when virtual reality becomes Simon’s actual reality?”

The episode is written by Dana Gould, and also stars Hannah Fierman (V/H/S) and D’Arcy Carden. It premieres on Thursday, April 29. Check out some first-look images below!

Creepshow, based on the 1982 horror comedy classic, is still the most fun you’ll ever have being scared! A comic book comes to life in a series of vignettes, exploring terrors ranging from murder, creatures, monsters, and delusions to the supernatural and unexplainable.

You never know what will be on the next page…
