After 40 years, it’s time to take back the power.

The battle for Eternia continues on Netflix this July 23 with the premiere of Kevin Smith and Mattel Television’s “Masters of the Universe: Revelation,” a brand new animated series that will serve as a direct continuation to the animated series from the 1980s.

Out of Netflix’s “Geeked Week” this afternoon, we’ve got the official teaser trailer for “Masters of the Universe: Revelation,” which takes us back to Castle Grayskull for a reunion with Skeletor, He-Man, and the gang. This action-packed, neon-soaked first look also gives us a first taste of Mark Hamill‘s Skeletor, while previewing the various character designs in the series.

Check out the teaser trailer below, along with a fresh batch of images from the series that give us our first look at Scare Glow, being voiced by horror icon Tony Todd (Candyman)!

The war for Eternia culminates in “Masters of the Universe: Revelation,” an innovative and action-packed animated series that picks up where the iconic characters left off decades ago. After a cataclysmic battle between He-Man and Skeletor, Eternia is fractured and the Guardians of Grayskull are scattered. And after decades of secrets tore them apart, it’s up to Teela to reunite the broken band of heroes, and solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to restore Eternia and prevent the end of the universe.

The voice cast includes…

  • Mark Hamill – Skeletor
  • Lena Headey – Evil-Lyn
  • Chris Wood – Prince Adam / He-Man
  • Sarah Michelle Gellar – Teela
  • Liam Cunningham – Man-At-Arms
