The Taking of Deborah Logan and Escape Room filmmakers Adam Robitel and Gavin Heffernan have set up their next project, a horror series being developed over at Netflix.
Deadline reports that the series is titled “The Craving,” with Robitel and Heffernan writing the pilot and Robitel himself on board to direct that episode and potentially others.
“The Craving explores the real-world horrors of addiction through a genre lens. It centers around a female sheriff in a Colorado ski town besieged by an unprecedented new threat.”
Darren Aronofsky and Elizabeth Gesas will executive produce for Protozoa Pictures.
In addition to Deborah Logan and Escape Room (as well as its upcoming sequel), Robitel also directed Insidious: The Last Key. Heffernan wrote Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension.
