Peacock’s “Wolf Like Me” Lets Isla Fisher Unleash Her Inner Wolf For Love [Trailer]
Series Creator/Director Abe Forsythe‘s (Little Monsters) newest genre-bender has him reteaming with Josh Gad to tackle a romantic dramedy with a genre twist in Peacock’s “Wolf Like Me.” The new trailer finally lets us in on the secret: this rom-com features a werewolf.
In the series, “Everyone brings their own set of baggage to a new relationship. Gary (Gad) and Mary (Isla Fisher) are no different. Gary is an emotional wreck and struggles to provide for his daughter since the death of his wife. Mary has a secret she can’t bring herself to share with anyone. The universe brought these two together for a reason, they just need to keep following the signs.”
It feels safe to assume that being a werewolf presents a whole host of obstacles for a budding romance.
Gad and Fisher serve as executive producers on the new show, alongside Forsythe, Jodi Matterson (Roar), Bruna Papandrea (“Big Little Lies”, “Nine Perfect Strangers”), and Steve Hutensky (Queen America).
The thirty-minute, six-episode series began streaming on Peacock on January 13, 2022.
