Second “Halo” Trailer from Paramount+ Introduces the Alien Threat
Based on the popular video games, the “Halo” series is headed to Paramount+ on March 24, with a second season already ordered up before the first even premieres.

Produced by 343 Industries and Amblin Television, the series sees “an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant.”
“‘Halo’ takes us into a dazzling world that we believe will enthrall audiences as much with its electrifying visuals as its bold, character-driven storytelling,” said Showtime and Paramount Plus chief David Nevins in a statement. “This second-season pickup reflects the confidence we have in the power of this epic series to attract and engage viewers.”
Pablo Schreiber (“American Gods”) stars as Master Chief, a member of a group of supersoldiers known as Spartans, with Jen Taylor reprising her role from the video game series as Master Chief’s AI companion, Cortana. Danny Sapani (“Penny Dreadful”), Olive Gray (“Half Moon Investigations”) and Charlie Murphy (“Peaky Blinders”) also set as series regulars.
The cast also includes Natascha McElhone (“Californication”), Emmy nominee Bokeem Woodbine (“Fargo”), Shabana Azmi (Fire), Bentley Kalu (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Natasha Culzac (“The Witcher”), Kate Kennedy (“Catastrophe”) and Yerin Ha (Reef Break).
David Wiener (“Brave New World”) will show-run and executive produce “Halo” Season 2. Steven Kane was the showrunner for Season 1, but has stepped away from the series.
AMC announced today it has renewed Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire for a fourth season, and it’s officially titled Anne Rice’s Queen of the Damned.
The news was announced during its Comic-Con International Hall H panel for The Vampire Lestat featuring series executive producers Mark Johnson and Hannah Moscovitch and castmates Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian and Sheila Atim.
Based on the beloved novel, Anne Rice’s Queen of the Damned will be executive produced and showrun by Moscovitch, along with executive producers Johnson and Rolin Jones.
An accomplished writer and playwright, Moscovitch was a writer on the first two seasons of Interview with the Vampire and an executive producer on The Vampire Lestat, for which she specifically wrote the “Akasha” and “Gabriella” characters.

The Vampire Lestat stars Sam Reid, Anderson, Zaman, Bogosian, Atim, Delainey Hayles and Jennifer Ehle and is executive produced by award-winning producer Johnson, creator, writer and showrunner Jones, Moscovitch, along with Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice.
In season three, Lestat goes on an electric multi-city tour while being haunted by “muses” from his wild and rebellious past. As his band’s popularity and star power rise, so does Lestat’s influence over vampires and humans alike, leaving others to contend with Lestat’s power in the face of the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population.
He awakens Akasha (Sheila Atim), the eponymous character of season four. Watch the teaser below.
