“Tales of the Walking Dead” Poster Art Previews Six Different Stories in One Dead World

The new episodic anthology series “Tales of the Walking Dead” will premiere Sunday, August 14 at 9pm ET/8c on AMC and AMC+, with the first two episodes streaming that same night on AMC+. Subsequent episodes will stream one week early, beginning Sunday, August 21.

“Tales of the Walking Dead” will allow for standalone tales to be told, which should give the series a very different vibe from the established “Walking Dead” formula that has carried over from the main series into the other spinoffs we’ve seen thus far.

Check out the official key art below, along with the latest teaser trailer.

Olivia Munn (The Predator) will appear in an episode of “Tales of the Walking Dead.”

The show’s cast also includes Daniella PinedaTerry CrewsParker Posey, Jillian BellAnthony Edwards and Poppy Liu. Confirmed directors for the “Tales of the Walking Dead” spinoff include Haifaa al-Mansour (Good Lord Bird), Deborah Kampmeier (Star Trek: Picard), Tara Nicole Weyr (The Wilds), and Michael Satrazemis (The Walking DeadFear the Walking Dead).

“Each one hour episode is set within the world of “The Walking Dead” and will feature both new and existing characters.”

Channing Powell (“The Walking Dead”) will the spinoff’s showrunner.

“This series, more than any other in the Walking Dead Universe, runs on new voices, perspectives, and ideas — bringing to life stories unlike any we’ve told before,” franchise architect Scott Gimple said. “I’m thrilled to be Channing’s consigliere, helping in every way I can to make those new visions real for the best fans in TV. I started as a fan of ‘The Walking Dead’ and have ended up as a showrunner of what will hopefully be one of its most unique spin-offs. I’m so grateful to AMC and Scott for supporting me and my writers while we pushed, pulled and poked at the boundaries of this universe to bring you something new and unexpected, while hopefully still tending to what core audiences loved so much about the flagship show.”

“Chucky” – Official Trailer for This Week’s New Episode Brings Brad Dourif into the White House!

Brad Dourif

Just two episodes remain in Season 3 of “Chucky,” with the second-to-last episode airing this Wednesday night on USA & SYFY. It’s titled “There Will Be Blood,” and oh yes there will be.

Last week’s episode was absolutely INSANE, with Chucky taking control of the situation room in the White House and attempting to start World War 3. His plan was thwarted, but not before nuking the North Pole. In the wake of launching that missile, Chucky met the true death, his doll body disintegrating into ash like he got Thanos snapped out of existence.

The episode ended with an appearance from Brad Dourif as Charles Lee Ray in his human form, with his spirit now free from the doll and roaming around the haunted White House.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for this week’s episode: “Parapsychologists investigate the disturbances in the White House, while Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) plans her escape.”

“There Will Be Blood” airs Wednesday, April 24 on USA and SYFY. Reversing a new plan they tested out last week, we’re told the episode will be available on Peacock this Thursday.
