Can you believe it’s already almost over? The season finale of “The Last of Us” comes to HBO and HBO Max this Sunday night, and HBO has debuted the official trailer for the finale.

Season 1, Episode 9 brings the first season to an end on March 12 at 9pm EST, with Joel and Ellie finally arriving at their destination and the events of the first video game reaching their conclusion. The season has largely been a faithful adaptation of the original game so fans likely know where this is headed, and the trailer is home to some of those familiar sights.

“There’s no halfway with this. We finish what we started,” Ellie tells Joel in the Season 1 finale trailer, which you’ll find below. And don’t worry, Season 2 is very much on the way!

HBO’s “The Last of Us” takes place twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse across the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.

Pedro Pascal (“The Mandalorian”) stars in the series as Joel and Bella Ramsey (“Game of Thrones”) plays Ellie. Gabriel Luna (Terminator: Dark Fate) plays Tommy, the brother of Pascal’s Joel. Storm ReidAnna TorvJeffrey Pierce, Nick Offerman, Merle Dandridge, Nico Parker, Murray Bartlett and Con O’Neil also star in the first season of the hit series.

Craig Mazin (“Chernobyl”) developed the series for HBO, and worked directly alongside Neil Druckmann to write and executive produce the small screen adaptation.

“Chucky” – Official Trailer for This Week’s New Episode Brings Brad Dourif into the White House!

Brad Dourif

Just two episodes remain in Season 3 of “Chucky,” with the second-to-last episode airing this Wednesday night on USA & SYFY. It’s titled “There Will Be Blood,” and oh yes there will be.

Last week’s episode was absolutely INSANE, with Chucky taking control of the situation room in the White House and attempting to start World War 3. His plan was thwarted, but not before nuking the North Pole. In the wake of launching that missile, Chucky met the true death, his doll body disintegrating into ash like he got Thanos snapped out of existence.

The episode ended with an appearance from Brad Dourif as Charles Lee Ray in his human form, with his spirit now free from the doll and roaming around the haunted White House.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for this week’s episode: “Parapsychologists investigate the disturbances in the White House, while Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) plans her escape.”

“There Will Be Blood” airs Wednesday, April 24 on USA and SYFY. Reversing a new plan they tested out last week, we’re told the episode will be available on Peacock this Thursday.

Watch the trailer below to preview this week’s bloody new episode!
