Interview with the Vampire season two

Get ready to visit the Théâtre des Vampires soon. At the Television Critics Association winter press tour, AMC announced that season two of “Interview with the Vampire” will arrive this May.

The new season premieres on Sunday, May 12 on AMC and AMC+.

Season two will pick up in the year 2022…

“The vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) recounts his life story to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian). Picking up from the bloody events in New Orleans in 1940 when Louis and teen fledgling Claudia (Delainey Hayles) conspired to kill the Vampire Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid), Louis tells of his adventures in Europe, a quest to discover Old World Vampires and the Theatre Des Vampires in Paris, with Claudia. It is in Paris that Louis first meets the vampire Armand (Assad Zaman).

“Their courtship and love affair will prove to have devastating consequences both in the past and in the future, and Molloy will probe to get to the truths buried within the memories.”

This season marks the first for Delainey Hayles as Claudia, taking over for Bailey Bass after she exited last season.

Prepare to meet new vampires in Armand’s coven, with recurring guest stars that include Roxane Duran (“The White Ribbon”) as Madeleine and Bally Gill (“Slow Horses”) as “Real Rashid.” Ben Daniels will star as Santiago, the leading vamp thespian of the Théâtre des Vampires who grows increasingly suspicious of the American vampires Louis and Claudia.

The series is an adaptation of Anne Rice’s iconic gothic horror novel, initially released in 1976. In it, a two-century-year-old vampire, Louis de Pointe du Lac tells his life story and twisted vampire family saga to a reporter. It was the first in a series of novels from Rice.

“Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire” is executive produced by Mark Johnson, Showrunner Rolin Jones and Mark Taylor, with Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice.

Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe only continues to grow, with new seasons of “Interview with the Vampire”, “Mayfair Witches”, and a spinoff centered around the Talamasca in the works.

Netflix announced today that the fan-favorite seriesDevil May Cryhas been renewed for a third and final season following the recent debut of season two.

Created byCastlevaniashowrunner Adi Shankar, the animated adaptation of the popular Capcom game introduces a world where sinister forces seek to open a portal between the human and demon realms.

Caught in the middle is orphaned demon-hunter-for-hire Dante, unaware that the fate of the balance falls to him.

Across its two seasons, the series has appeared on the Netflix Global Top 10 for four weeks, with season one accumulating  21.7M views in 2025, and season two already off to a strong start, accumulating 6.4M views in just two weeks. All of which to say that the rapid renewal for the third and final season doesn’t come as a surprise.

For those of you who have been paying attention to the episode names, I have been showing you the structure the entire time. This was always Dante’s Divine Comedy with guns and a red coat. Season 1 was Inferno. Season 2 was Purgatorio. Season 3 will be Paradiso. These three seasons make upThe Force Edge Saga.Since its inception,The Force Edge Sagawas designed as a movie trilogy disguised as a television series,Shankar said of the announcement.

The voice cast forDevil May CrySeason 2 is led by Johnny Yong Bosch (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) as Dante, Robbie Daymond (Critical Role) as Vergil, and Scout Taylor-Compton (Rob Zombie’s Halloween) as Lady.

Daniel Kurland wrote in his second season review for BD,Winning chemistry between Dante and Vergil, as well as a narrative that isn’t afraid to put other characters in the spotlight, helps this season overcome some of the past season’s hurdles. This is a tight, economical season that doesn’t overstay its welcome, but part of the charm and impact is weakened the second time around.

Created by Hideki Kamiya, the first Devil May Cry game was released in 2001. There are now five main games in addition to several reboots, spin-offs, special editions, and mobile games.
