Netflix has narrowed the release date for their upcoming adaptation of Devil May Cry to April 3. Along with the release date, Netflix has released a new image of Dante being cooler than hell.
Again, there’s still not a lot of info just yet on the series, but Netflix has provided a brief synopsis:
“In this animated adaptation of the popular Capcom game and from the vision of Adi Shankar, sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck.”
The anime is currently being produced by Korean animation company Studio Mir.
Johnny Yong Bosch, who voices Nero in the video game series, will be providing the voice of Dante for the series.
