Horror trivia game show Better Luck than Chuck aims to test your insight into fright this Halloween; the series is set to debut later this month.
The six-episode series will unleash a weekly competition to test your horror mettle on YouTube, beginning September 24 with new episodes on Thursdays.
Better Luck than Chuck stars Alexis Allotta as The Widow and Adam Michaels as Charlie, alongside rotating trios of horror experts from all walks of life.
The Widow and Charlie host the horror-comedy series where horror fans battle for prizes by proving their knowledge of the genre’s most iconic films, characters, and unforgettable moments. It features celebrity guests as question readers from across the horror industry.
Gameplay consists of three contestants competing in two rounds of trivia. The contestant with the most points at the end of round two will advance to “Charlie’s Workshop,” where they will have 90 seconds to find iconic horror movie items in a scavenger hunt to die for.

The series is produced by Screambox Director of Programming & Original Productions Tony Wash (“Bloody Bites”), Meredith Tummillo, Sarah Sharp, and Robert Patrick Stern.
“A spooky, kooky mix of MTV’s Remote Control, Comedy Central’s Win Ben Stein’s Money, and Nickelodeon’s Finders Keepers, Better Luck than Chuck incorporates numerous topics chosen by its contestants that quiz their horror knowledge – with each cate-GORY taking an entertaining and unique angle on the question/answer process,” the creative team previously said in a statement.
