This year’s “Treehouse of Horror” special from “The Simpsons” is an extra special one, with the first family of animated fright joining forces with fast food chain Jack in the Box to launch a series of “Treehouse of Horror”-inspired menu items. But when does the episode actually air?

We received a special press mailer at the Bloody Disgusting offices this week that teases the three storylines that will be featured in this year’s “extra-scary, ultra-spooky” Halloween special…
- Marge gets a horrifying new perspective on marriage
- Bart and Santa’s Little Helper embark on a bone-chilling adventure.
- Homer takes a driving lesson.
Of particular note, one of those segments will see “The Simpsons” spoof The Nightmare Before Christmas, and the mailer we received this morning includes a sneak peek at Homer and the gang reimagined in the style of Henry Selick and Tim Burton’s animated classic.
The mailer also teases the following plot points from the three segments…
