‘I Let You In’: Immersive ‘Talk To Me’ Meta Spinoff Series Debuts Spring 2027

I Let You In

I Let You In, the Talk to Me spinoff series, is coming exclusively to Meta Quest headsets and Meta VR Glasses in Spring 2027, and the first poster is here.

The six-episode series opens a new corner in the Talk to Me universe, which also includes the bleak Bring Her Back, bringing the hand and its deadly rituals to entirely new characters, a new setting, and an immersive format. I Let You In is currently in post-production after wrapping filming in Spain earlier this year.

It follows “a group of young travelers chasing the ultimate party in Ibiza as they become hooked on the thrill of conjuring spirits —a supernatural high deadlier than any drug.“

Aubri Ibrag (The Buccaneers), Charlotte Maggi (Rebel Moon), Sofia Hublitz (Ozark), Julio Peña (Berlin), Raff Law (Masters of the Air) and Charlie Hiscock (Ted Lasso) star as the doomed travelers who toy with the wrong party game.

All six episodes are directed by Craig William Macneill (Them, The Terror) and written by Trent Atherton (The Wheel) based on a pitch from Brandl and Atherton.

The immersive 3D I Let You In series was commissioned by Meta and produced by XRTV and created for Meta Quest headsets and the newly unveiled Meta VR Glasses. Talk to Me creators Danny & Michael Philippou executive produce for Blue Bear alongside showrunner Darren Brandl and Jack Davis for XRTV, Samantha Jennings and Kristina Ceyton for Causeway Films (Talk to Me, The Babadook), and Andreas Michael Wentz and Juan Antonio Cano Trujillo for Sur Film. Jeff Rich is producing for Meta.

Brandl said, “Talk to Me is the perfect immersive IP because it’s about young adults who seek the Hand to experience the euphoria of possession but end up tormented by breaking through to the spirit world. It made possession fun, and the scares unforgettable. Maybe we’re crazy, but we’re betting you’re going to want to feel possessed too, and with Meta’s new technology, we think for the first time you’ll believe it!”

Released in 2022, Talk to Me follows a group of friends who discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand, and became a smash hit in theaters following its breakout reception at Sundance. The Philippou brothers are currently developing a direct sequel.
