The witches are back and heading to Old Salem in the new teaser from Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches: Salem Coven, the third season set to premiere this winter.
The new teaser, unveiled this afternoon at New York Comic Con, reveals that the new season will arrive on December 30.
Adapted from Anne Rice‘s Lives of the Mayfair Witches novel trilogy, the third season will dive deeper into the mythology of witchcraft, introduce new “spellbound” families, and feature some of the historical happenings of Salem, MA, the infamous town of witch trials and folklore.
Returning stars Alexandra Daddario, Harry Hamlin, Tongayi Chirisa, and Alyssa Jirrels will be joined by Michiel Huisman (“The Haunting of Hill House”), Betsy Brandt (“Breaking Bad”), James Frain (“True Blood”) and Eliza Scanlen (“Sharp Objects”) .
Thomas Schnauz (“Breaking Bad,” “Better Call Saul”) has joined as co-showrunner alongside Esta Spalding, who co-created the series with Michelle Ashford.
Mayfair Witches premiered in 2023 as the second series in AMC’s Anne Rice Immortal Universe following Interview with the Vampire. The Anne Rice Immortal Universe also includes the now-canceled Talamasca: The Secret Order.
