The legendary Crypt Keeper is back this Halloween as the host of AMC FearFest, with Greg Nicotero re-creating the classic HBO character and John Kassir returning to voice the horror icon.
The Crypt Keeper is serving up shocktails all month long on FearFest, presented by Bacardi.
If you’ve been watching AMC FearFest this month you’ve probably seen him pop up here and there during the commercial breaks, and three of those segments have now made their way online.
You can watch “Guess Who’s Back?!,” “Raising the Bar from the Dead,” and “Better With a Beat” below, which play out a bit like “Tales from the Crypt” intro segments back in the day.
In collaboration with AMC Global Media’s Content Room, the company’s in-house branded entertainment studio, Greg Nicotero directed the Crypt Keeper segments for FearFest with John Kassir providing the signature cackle and wit that cemented the Crypt Keeper’s legacy.
This year’s FearFest programming event features over 650 hours of iconic horror films, franchises, new series, specials and more. And the classic HBO television series “Tales from the Crypt” is now streaming on the AMC-owned Shudder. Click here for the full AMC FearFest 2026 schedule.
