If you have a Playstation Plus account, then you know that you get two free games per month. Sometimes you get some real gems while other times you get something that you try out, delete, and never download again. To be fair, it’s free, so I’m never going to complain.
To celebrate Halloween and the 20th anniversary of the franchise, the free PS4 game of October is none other than the HD remake of Resident Evil! I’ve only played the original (the “Director’s Cut” version), so this is really exciting for me! I’m a big fan of the old-school Resident Evil games so I know that I’ll be playing this through a few times at least!
Originally released on the Game Cube in 2002, the Resident Evil remake took the original 1996 game and improved upon it in pretty much every way possible. Updated graphics, better layouts, a stronger controller setup, and new enemies and locations all combined into a game that has become one of the pinnacles of the survivor horror genre.
Oh, and the other game is Transformers: Devastation. Carry on.
