[Video] ‘Dead by Daylight’ Teases the Arrival of Jigsaw!

While Friday the 13th: The Game won the year by letting us kill people as Jason Voorhees, slasher game Dead by Daylight also brought a whole lot of horror icon love to the gaming world last year. Leatherface, Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger were all added into the game as playable killers, and another franchise villain is joining them this year.

An official trailer released today teases the arrival of the Saw franchise’s Jigsaw!

We have no way of knowing how the character/franchise will be integrated into the game, but we’d say it’s safe to expect a new playable character and map.

“Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical, multiplayer (4 vs 1) horror game where one player takes on the role of a savage killer, and the other four players become survivors frantically scurrying to avoid being caught, tortured and killed. Survivors play in third-person and have the advantage of better situational awareness. The Killer plays in first-person and is more focused on their prey. The Survivors’ goal in each encounter is to escape the Killing Ground without getting caught by the Killer – something that sounds easier than it is, especially when the environment changes every time you play.”

Dead by Daylight is now available on PS4, Xbox One and Steam.

Stunlock Gives a Glimpse of New Content for ‘V Rising’ With Ruins of Mortium Gameplay Trailer [Watch]

The full release of V Rising is coming up quick. And just in case the upcoming Castlevania crossover wasn’t enough, Stunlock has released a new gameplay trailer showing off the new Ruins of Mortium endgame zone for V Rising.

Once the heart of the powerful Vampire civilization, the Ruins of Mortium now lies in ruins, teeming with the cult-like remnants of Dracula’s forces. Players will encounter the Draculin, creatures tainted by Dracula’s influence, and face off against his Vampire Generals. The ultimate challenge awaits as players journey into the depths of Mortium to confront Dracula himself. While battling through his forces and disrupting dark rituals intent on reviving the ancient Vampire king, players will uncover ancient powers and prepare for the ultimate showdown against the tyrant himself.

Ruins of Mortium is just one piece of the new content for V Rising when it launches in full. Here’s a rundown of what to expect:

V Rising exits Early Access on Steam on May 8th, alongside the Legacy of Castlevania crossover. A PlayStation 5 version will also be released later this year.
