Could we soon be seeing the expansion of the Cloverfield Universe into the world of video games? Perhaps, as THR reports today that J.J. Abrams has launched Bad Robot Games, a new video game division for his Bad Robot.

“Tencent is helping form Bad Robot Games to create both large scale and indie titles for mobile, PC, and console. The new partnership will be dedicated to developing original games developed exclusively by J.J. Abrams and Bad Robot with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment joining the new gaming arm as a minority investor.”

“Bad Robot Games will partner with known game developers to create both large scale and indie titles for mobile, PC, and console. In-house visual artists, designers and writers from Bad Robot will work on the projects.”

Tim Keenan (Duskers) and Dave Baronoff will creatively direct the division.

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has four awesome cats. Still plays with toys.
