We mentioned the upcoming remake of the classic EA game Mutant League Football in the form of Digital Dreams Entertainment’s Mutant Football League a while back. The game’s been out since Halloween last year, and has enjoyed modest success. Now, the creators have announced a revamped version in the form of Mutant Football League: Dynasty Edition.
Set for release September 18th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch (yeah, I’m surprised, too), this new version of the game includes the original release, but this time around has more teams, new races (demons and werewolves!) and a new Dynasty Mode with team-management elements. In Dynasty Mode, players become the coach and GM of your team, where you can directly manage the roster and sign/trade players, manage team salary caps, create custom playbooks and more.
Of course, the gory mayhem of the original game is still here, with 24 unique fields equipped with a variety of obstacles such as landmines, booby traps, fire pits, toxic moats and buzz saws. You can also take it further with tactics such as bribing the refs, toss bombs onto the field, or equip your players with shotguns and chainsaws.
Mutant Football League: Dynasty Edition will retail for $29.99.
