Just launched last week, the zombie-slaying game Dead Island: Survivors takes the Dead Island franchise into the mobile arena, but what about the long-promised Dead Island 2? What’s the status on that one and is it, at this point, *ever* actually happening?
Fans of Deep Silver’s Dead Island, released in 2011, have been holding out for the sequel since it was announced over four years ago. The game missed its original Spring 2015 release date and subsequently changed developers from Yager Entertainment to Sumo Digital, and every so often we’ve been getting little “it’s still happening” updates from Deep Silver.
Yup, we’ve just gotten another one of those. It’s still in development, Deep Silver assures…
