Forever Entertainment Bringing ‘Agony’ to The Nintendo Switch This Year

The tragic tale of Madmind Studio’s Agony, from it’s lacklustre release (and reviews) to the cancelled unrated version to Madmind’s apparent financial troubles, you would hope that there would some good news to come around for the game. Like a release on the Nintendo Switch.

In one of those “didn’t see that coming” moments, Forever Entertainment recently announced that Agony will make its way on to the Nintendo Switch platform later this year. No concrete release date has been announced, although the port will include the needed bug fixes and updates that the Steam version received.

This is certainly an about-face for Nintendo’s longstanding image of being kid-centric, even though through the years they’ve had their fair share of Mature-rated games on their consoles. Yeah, DOOM and Wolfenstein II being on the Switch is one thing, but a game with the content and subject matter as Agony? Interesting, to say the least.

Agony was released earlier this year to Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
