With Shadow of the Tomb Raider shipping out this Friday (that’s September 14th, in case you’re wondering), Square Enix has released the launch trailer for the game, which will hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Square Enix have also released a set of new screenshots for you to oogle over.
In this latest entry for the franchise, Shadow is set two months after the events of Rise of the Tomb Raider. Lara ventures into South America to the legendary city of Paititi looking for a Mayan relic, which has a connection to her late father. Along the way, she has to deal with the paramilitary organization Trinity, which also seeks the relic. During the course of her journey, Lara sets off a Mayan apocalypse, leaving her to have to save the world.
