Now I’ll readily admit that I’m not the biggest fan of Gearbox’s Borderlands series, but with October 13th (spooky) being the second anniversary of PlayStation VR, Sony has gone ahead and whipped up a few surprises for fans. One of which includes the announcement that Borderlands 2 VR will hit the service this December 14th!
Yes, you can return to Pandora, and experience it like never before, as you virtually become a treasure-seeking Vault Hunter facing off against the galaxy’s most charming psychopathic dictator – Handsome Jack – with nothing but your arsenal of guns, guns and more guns. Other than the pre-order on the PlayStation Store (which you can find here), there’s not much more info on the game.
Of course, there are other titles that will be available, such as Tetris Effect and Disruptive Games’ Megalith (which launches next year)m as well as new bundles for the PSVR gear, which you can check out in the announcement on PlayStation Blog.
