With IO Interactive’s Hitman 2 due out next week (November 13th, to be exact), it appears that previous games in the series will be getting a re-release.
According to listings on the Pan European Game Information board (or PEGI) website (thanks, Gematsu), 2012’s Hitman: Absolution and 2006’s Hitman: Blood Money were rated for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Europe in late September. This would indicate that these games would be getting a re-release down the road. IO Interactive hasn’t said anything about this (yet), but it’s fair to say that Hitman 2 is the current focus.
Hitman: Absolution first launched for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in November 2012, while Hitman: Blood Money first launched for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC in May 2006.
Hitman 2 launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 13.
