For those itching for more GTFO gameplay with a slice of tech demonstration, then this clip is for you. At the recent Unity Unite Developer Conference in Los Angeles, developer 10 Chambers Collective not only showed off gameplay footage of the team-based shooter, but also some of the technology behind it.
GTFO will feature Dynamic Cinematic CineCast, which is a camera system unveiled by Unity Technologies that allows players to create movie-like sequences from various gameplay events in real time. It powers in-game replays, enables footage for trailers, and it will potentially make eSports more watchable and exciting.
But enough of the techie stuff. You want the gameplay. Well, fast forward to 11:30 in the video, and you’ll get your fix and then some. The video keeps up with the high-tension atmosphere that previous GTFO trailers have established, and looks amazing.
That 2018 release date it still up there, so perhaps we’ll be getting a beta before the full game is released.
