Darksiders III hits in a week (November 27th), so why not go all out and release the opening cinematic to get people talking? That’s exactly what THQ Nordic have done.
The cinematic does your Cole’s Notes version of the background on the Four Horsemen and their origins. It also captures Fury’s attitude (you’ll see). I’ll admit that I’m not the biggest fan of what amounts to comic book panels that have been given the After Effects treatment, but it does the job.
As well, for no other reason other than “Why not?”, THQ Nordic also released an ASMR video (yeah, I had to look it up, too) with bodypaint artist Ruby True made up as Fury. It’s the first in a series of videos “to help gamers de-stress this holiday season.”
Well, whatever floats your boat.
