Like me, you’re probably wondering just when Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is going to come out. The game’s 8-bit throwback prequel in Curse of the Moon was pretty fun when it was released earlier this year. But, like many of you who supported the Kickstarter, you want what you paid for.
Well, in an update by 505 Games and Inti Creates, the devs have announced that, while the game is now looking to be released in 2019, they have partnered with WayForward to help the core development team in the home stretch. As for the ‘when’ question, the team reiterates: “As soon as we have a concrete release date, we will let everyone know.”
The devs also took the time to drop some new concept art for one of the enemies found in the game. Cyhyreath is an enemy that, on first appearance, she’s crouching on the floor. However, when the player approaches her, “she will fly around and make a death shriek to attack the player.”
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will be released on PlayStation 4, Vita, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Steam.
