Bethesda hasn’t quite gotten the reception they were hoping for with Fallout 76 (with much of it being their own doing), but give them credit for trying to make amends. As a way to get more people on board (and because it’s Christmas), Bethesda have announced a little treat for those Fallout 76 players that logged in at any time in 2018: The Fallout Classic Collection!
ANYONE who logged into the full release of #Fallout76 in 2018 will receive an entitlement for Fallout Classic Collection on PC. This applies to Xbox One and PS4 players, too.
The entitlement is expected to go live in early January. pic.twitter.com/U8pJwrk0PV

Yep, you read that right. Initially available as a pre-order bonus for Fallout 76, players should be able to claim their free copy of the Classic Collection in early January. Bethesda hasn’t specified where you’ll be able to play the games, but it’s safe to assume that it’ll be through the developer’s own launcher, rather than Steam.
Personally, while it doesn’t fix the underlying problems of the game, nor does it remedy the canvas bag issue, it’s at least a something for those who aren’t completely satisfied with their Fallout 76 experience.
