Metro Exodus fans will be in for a treat this week, as publisher Deep Silver and developer 4A Games have announced that they’re devoting a whole week (this week, actually) to dropping tidbits for the game, which releases next month.
For starters, 4A Games have announced that Exodus will come with a highly-requested feature in the form of a Photo Mode. “Photo Mode has been one of the most requested features from the Metro community,” said 4A Games executive producer Jon Bloch. “They’re relatively rare in first-person shooters, but the team have been determined to make it work and give Metro fans the opportunity to capture their own stories from the Russian wastelands.”
Calling all video game photographers – you can document your journey in #MetroExodus from day one with Photo Mode!

I mean, it only makes sense, given what we’ve seen so far from the game. It’s downright gorgeous.
And today, it’s expected that 4A Games will release a new story-focused trailer for the game, so keep an eye out for that.
Metro Exodus will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 15.
