‘Among The Sleep’ Awakens on The Nintendo Switch Later This Year

Like so many other horror titles that first appeared on PC and PlayStation 4/Xbox One, Krillbite Studio have announced that their first-person horror game Among the Sleep is the latest to make the jump to the Nintendo Switch. The developer reveals that publisher Soedesco will be handling the port, which is expected to arrive on the Switch later this year.

As with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, this version of the game will be the “Enhanced Edition”, which features “enhanced graphics, dialogue, and other significant improvements.” Among the Sleep first launched for PC, Mac, and Linux back in May 2014. It was then ported to the PlayStation 4 in December 2015 and Xbox One in June 2016.

In Among the Sleep, players assume the role of a defenseless two-year old toddler who has lost his mother. With Teddy, his sentient teddy bear as his only companion, the toddler wanders off through the house to find her. What follows is a search through grim and twisted environments, experienced through the eyes of a scared child, filled with tension, symbolism, and psychological horror.
