Vermintide 2 players can expect the title’s first expansion pack this year in the form of Winds of Magic. Developer Fatshark announced the expansion today, which will bring a new enemy faction in the form of Beastmen, a race of warrior-beasts that are touted as the toughest enemy faction in the game.
Along with the Beastmen, the expansion will feature a new city to explore in Helmgart, as well as new gameplay features including five new weapons, a raised level cap, higher difficulty, and a new game mode that presents its own challenges for players.
To pre-order, you can hit up the expansion’s Steam page. No word yet on when PlayStation 4 or Xbox One users will be able to get their hands on this expansion.
