Activision and From Software’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will finally be unleashed next week, so today’s launch trailer is a no-brainer.
For those that need a quick recap, Sekiro takes place in a reimagined late 16th century Sengoku period Japan. You play as a shinobi who was left for dead after his lord was kidnapped, and his arm severed by a leading samurai of the Ashina clan. You awaken to find that your missing arm has been replaced with a prosthetic by a mysterious busshi who names you Sekiro, or “the one-armed wolf”. Armed with a katana and the prosthetic, you set out to rescue your lord, and to exact your revenge.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice hits March 22 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
