Paradox Interactive Announces ‘Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2’

After teasing fans with “the announcement” for the past month, Paradox Interactive has finally announced their sequel to their 2004 RPG Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. Developed in conjunction with Hardsuit Labs, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Q1 2020, and will this time take place in Seattle in White Wolf Publishing’s World of Darkness setting.

In Bloodlines 2, players will take on the role of a fledgling vampire, who has to deal with the various vampire clans and political factions who are fighting for control of the city. All the while, you’ll be engaging in stealth and first-person combat using a number of vampiric powers. Brian Mitsoda, designer and writer of the original Bloodlines, is on board again as Bloodlines 2‘s lead narrative designer.

Pre-orders are already available on Steam, the Epic Games Store (yes, both!), GOG.com, and Paradox’s store. If you’re really hungry, you can spring for the “Blood Moon Edition,” which contains the “Season of the Wolf” Season Pass and includes additional story content to be released after launch.
